Schools & Colleges

Bhaktivedanta College promotes the spiritual and cultural legacy of Gaudiya Vaishnavism, brought from India to the West by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. The College presents a systematic programme of education and training, with special emphasis on personal application. We offer courses on Vaishnava Studies along with other disciplines, in three strands: academic study, vocational skills, and character development. The courses, taught by devotee-scholars, provide students with sound spiritual training combined with academic excellence. The College most naturally facilitates devotees who desire to realise Srila Prabhupada’s vision of education based on Krishna conscious principles.

The Bhaktivedanta Institute - Through its distinctive research and degree programs, the Bhaktivedanta Institute (B.I.) is in the forefront of the newly emerging scientific field of Consciousness Studies. In 1990, the Institute conducted in San Francisco, the First International Conference on the Study of Consciousness Within Science, in which fourteen major research scientists including three Nobel Laureates presented papers. The Institute has, since then, conducted, the world's only and longest running colloquium on science and consciousness in the Bay Area. The Institute has also pursued its own research initiative within the new field of consciousness studies.

The Mayapur Institute of Higher Education - "Throughout the whole world there is no institution to impart education in the matter of spiritual understanding. So we are going to open a big center in Mayapur where this education will be internationally imparted. Students from all parts of the world will go there to take education in this important subject." (Srila Prabhupada - 1971 letter)

Rupanuga Vedic College is unique in the world in that it offers a pure Vaishnava educational environment with the opportunity to earn Associates, Bachelors, Masters and Doctorates of Divinity degrees. RVC also offers Vaisnava devotional titles such as Bhakti-sastri and Bhakti-Vaibhava.

The Bhaktivedanta Academy based in Sridhama Mayapur, was established in the early 1980’s. The devotees educated there are imbibed with the philosophy, science, and culture of Gaudiya Vaisnavism and are thus trained to teach and demonstrate the essential principles of that culture to others.


Bhaktivedanta Manor donated in 1973 by George Harrison, is a place dedicated to the spiritual upliftment of human society. Through spiritual life, education and culture, this rural retreat serves as a window to Vrindavan, Lord Krishna's eternal home. Offering the simple precepts of Krishna consciousness taught by His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, it is a God-centred community enabling people from all walks of life to find refuge, a sense of belonging and fellowship, and spiritual meaning and fulfillment.

Sri Radha Govind Dham - (ISKCON Ahmedabad) Three 50-ft diameter stone shikhars (domes) hand-carved with depictions of Krishna's pastimes, rise more than 100 ft. above the 25,000-sq-ft temple. The building, blending Gujarat Sompura, and Rajasthani Khamira architectural styles, sits on four acres and features one of the largest temple rooms in India. The 12,000-sq-ft hall can accommodate 4,000 people and is home to the Deities of Radha-Govinda, Gaura-Nitai, Sita-Rama-Laksman-Hamuman, and Sri Nathji, as well as murti forms of Srila Prabhupada and Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati. Decorations include ornate stone-clad pillars, marble flooring engraved with colored granite designs, windows intricately carved in Rajastani Mewas style, and Khemira and Araish decorated ceilings.

ISKCON Baltimore - Situated in Catonsville, Maryland, the Hare Krishna Temple has been the center of activities for the members of the Hare Krishna Movement in the Greater Baltimore Metro Area since 1972.

Sri Sri Radha Rasabihariji Temple (ISKCON Mumbai / Juhu) is a spiritual oasis in the desert of demanding material life of the financial and commercial capital of India. A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, founder-acharya of International Society of Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) personally struggled against all odds to build the temple amid the palm trees of “Hare Krishna Land,” a 4 acre-plot in Juhu Beach. The temple was opened on 14 January, 1978.

ISKCON Radhadesh is a spiritual community of the Hare Krishnas based in a 19th century Chateau in the Belgian Ardennes. There are presently around 80 people who live in the community, which was founded about 1980. Home of the Bhaktivedanta College.

Ratha Jatra, the Festival of Chariots of Lord Jagannatha is celebrated every year at Puri, the temple town in Orissa, on the east coast of India.

Sri Radha Damodar Mandir - Established by Srila Jiva Goswami in 1542 in the holy dham of Vrndavan, the Deities of Sri Sri Radha Damodar were given to Srila Jiva Goswami by his guru, Srila Rupa Goswami Prabhupada and have been worshipped here since then. The bhajan kutir and samadhi of Srila Rupa Goswami as well as the samadhis of Srila Jiva Goswami, Krsnadasa Kaviraja Goswami, Bhugarbha Goswami and the bhajan kutir of Srila A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada are present here also on the temple premises.
